APA Citation for multiple or Single Authors:
Citing work by TWO Authors:
A report by Wilson and Greg (2001) proves
(Wilson and Greg, 2001)
Citing work by 3 – 5 Authors:
List all the authors’ names within the parenthesis or in signal phrase, when stating them the first time but later on “et al” can be used after the name of the first author.
(Kenny, Jefferson, Clarks, Barlow and Hilton, 2000)

Citing work by 6 or more authors:
State the name of the first author only followed by et al.
Note: For unknown authors use “Anonymous” as author’s name. Likewise organizations can also be cited as an author.

Cite them the same way they appear within the parenthesis and separate the names with a semi colon.

Two or more works with same last names:
In such cases use the initials of the authors, in order to prevent confusion.

Use the authors last name and cite the year with a, b or c. For example,

For Electronic Sources:
Try to use the same author-date method to cite these sources as well and for unknown authors or no date, use the signal phrase or two of the title in parentheses as an author and for dates use the abbreviation “n.d”.
